Back From Disneyland Paris

Well OK we got back a few days ago but I needed to get my photos uploaded. We had a wonderful time. Izzy loved the rides - her favourite was "choonior" which we worked out after a couple of days was Casey Junior the Circus train! She also enjoyed the teacups - I love this pic of her with everything blurred, Darren looks a bit like an alien but the shot of Izzy is cool!

She also fell in love with Minnie Mouse and the highlight for me was her face when we were sitting in Cafe Mickey and she spotted the characters. She got really excited and then enjoyed the characters coming round the tables to see her.

As always with a Disney holiday it passed too quickly and I wish we had spent more time just soaking up the atmosphere, enjoying the details and relaxing, maybe next time!! We didn't do all the rides by any means, there were several we did 3 or 4 times and lots that we missed out but we had a lovely time.

i was really pleased with how well Izzy did on the journeys, even though it was a total of about 7 hours each way (including stops) she was really good in the car, helped of course by having Elizabeth in the back entertaining her and some nice lengthy sleeps! She also did well in the parks, Darren took her back in the evening most nights after dinner but she managed to stay up for the Fantillusion parade one night which wasn't on til 25 past 10 and I am glad she saw it, it was beautiful.

Darren really doesn't do Disney so the highlights of his holiday were a couple of the meals and finding a crate of Old Speckled Hen beers at the Euro Tunnel terminal for just 18 Euros for 24 cans - Bargain!
